Product Overview
Lenovo ThinkPad L14 GEN2 i is an entry-level 14-inch business laptop powered by 11th-gen Intel Core processors. Like its predecessor, the GEN2 model adds more display options, including a new Low Power IPS display in FHD. Like the bigger L15 GEN2 i, the L14 GEN2 i also adds a Thunderbolt 4 port, switches the optional graphics to an NVIDIA unit, and upgrades the memory to DDR4-3200MHz, even though it inherits the chassis, display, and battery of the GEN1 model.
Despite its market positioning, the ThinkPad L14 GEN2 i still retains robust build quality, having been tested against 12 military-grade requirements and more than 200 quality checks to ensure their robustness. For enhanced security, the ThinkShield security solutions and the discrete Trust Platform Module (dTPM) encrypts your data.
Unlike many 2021 (GEN2) ThinkPad models, the L14 GEN2 does not offer WiFi 6E, sticking with the WiFi 6 for now. Still, it can be configured with LTE WWAN like other ThinkPads.
Lenovo has also introduced AMD-powered L14 and L15 models for 2021.
