Product Overview
Lenovo Legion Tower 5i 28IMB05 is a high-performance gaming micro-ATX desktop computer positioned in the middle of Legion's lineup. It features 10th-gen Intel Core processors paired with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER graphics.
Compared to the AMD-powered variant, the Legion T5i not only is larger but also adopts distinct design elements. Still, T5i 28IMB05 similarly features a transparent side panel that allows the owner to showcase the tower's ARGB cooling system. It also uses the same upgraded Lenovo Legion Coldfront 2.0 liquid-cooling system that includes a 150-watt CPU cooler and larger intake fans.
At the same time, Lenovo also markets the more powerful Legion Tower 7i powered by Intel Core K-series processors.

Reviewer score 79% (normalized by Neofiliac)Lenovo has a compelling mid-tower gaming rig on its hands. It's well designed, easy to service, and looks the part withoutdoing it. The Legion Tower 5i's 65-watt processor didn't hold back its GeForce RTX 2070 Super. It earns our top honors for a mainstream gaming desktop.
Pros
- Excellent gaming performance
- Easy-to-configure case
- Comfortable keyboard
Cons
- No Wi-Fi
techradar[2]
Reviewer score 72% (normalized by Neofiliac)Lenovo says the Legion Tower 5i is meant to have a more "industrial" look than your typical gaming PC. The built in handle on the top-rear of the case both makes it look more like a piece of machinery and functionally makes it feel like a freestanding power tool when you carry it around. It's good to see a USB Type-C port there, though we'd rather there were at least two.
Pros
- Excellent 1080p gaming performance
- Decent build quality
Cons
- Bluetooth connectivity issues
