External Reviews
parttimeaudiophile[1]
Reviewer score 83% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Dali IO 6 has essentially a flat frequency response. Treble is tidy with no weird suck-outs or peaks. The mid-range is transparent, clean and texture and bass is tight and clear. The buttons, side panel ear-cup controls and on/off button are all well thought out.
Pros
- Fantastic noise-cancellation
- Great battery life
- Great sound quality
Cons
- Too many nitpicks

Reviewer score 80% (normalized by Neofiliac)The PSB M4U 8 is the most appropriate to compare with the DALI IO-6. They have a similar list price and functionality, including the ability to be used as wired headphones if the power is off. Which one you will prefer comes down to personal taste.
Pros
- Superb battery life
- Excellent noise cancellation
- Comfortable fit
Cons
- Bulky design

Reviewer score 76% (normalized by Neofiliac) IO-6s are a tonally convincing listen, three-dimensional and with just enough dynamism to keep things interesting. Bass sounds are well integrated into the rest of the frequency range and don’t drag at tempos or put rhythms off-kilter. There’s also a “transparency” setting, which pauses music and gives a gentle boost to exterior sounds. Call quality is equally decent, and that helps with instructions given to the voice assistant.
Pros
- Excellent noise-cancellation
- Comfortable fit
- Decent call quality
Cons
- No control app
whathifi[4]
Reviewer score 86% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Dali iO-6 Wireless headphones have a smart, premium-grade design. The earcups rotate a full 90 degrees both ways, which means they adapt well to your head and ears. There's no Dali app to contend with here – it's all refreshingly easy. The design actually offers a fair amount of passive noise isolation, even when the active cancellation is toggled off.
Pros
- Gorgeous design
- Impressive noise cancelling
- Excellent battery life
Cons
- No Dali app
