digitaltrends[1]

Reviewer score 49% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from digitaltrends have found:
The Mi 11 is great for gaming due to the moderate weight, plus there is a gaming mode to hold notifications and silence calls. The 4,600mAh cell may have the capacity for a lengthy use time, but it doesn't have the guts to last more than a full day. With moderate use, the battery reduces at an alarming rate, and even partway into the day, I questioned whether I'd have to charge it before I went to bed.
Pros
  • Fantastic 108MP camera
  • Excellent performance
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Mediocre camera
  • No wireless charging

gsmarena[2]

Reviewer score 86% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from gsmarena have found:
Selfies come out rather soft sometimes, but they're still good, with Auto-HDR being used when needed. Portrait selfies have okay subject separation, good looking background blur, but lack in detail. At night, the quality levels go down sharply if you don't have a lot of ambient lighting around. Software updates are few and far between, but the upgrade to MIUI 12.5 has thankfully not introduced any bugs or issues.
Pros
  • Best-in-class camera system
  • Fast performance
  • Great battery life
Cons
  • Mediocre cameras
  • No adaptive refresh rate

nextpit[3]

Reviewers from nextpit have found:
At night, the Xiaomi Mi 11 does well, without being outstanding. The results are quite decent for a smartphone in this price range. The dedicated night mode also does a far better job in correcting the "flare" issue. A wide-angle/ultra-wide angle duo is too little for a high-end smartphone.
Pros
  • 120Hz AMOLED display
  • 120Hz refresh rate
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No telephoto lens
  • No wireless charging

notebookcheck[4]

Reviewer score 67% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from notebookcheck have found:
The Mi 11 has a symmetrical dual-speaker system on the top and bottom of the case. The stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon offer a very nice sound. Music playback via the USB port offers a clean sound. The Mi 11's 4,600 mAh battery charges at 55 watts via USB-C PD and wirelessly at a maximum of 50 watts.
Pros
  • Bright AMOLED display
  • Good battery life
  • Fast charging
Cons
  • Very high heat development
  • Mediocre cameras
  • No IP rating

phonearena[5]

Reviewer score 85% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from phonearena have found:
Xiaomi has been killing it in terms of design in the past few years. The new Mi 11 utilizes frosted Gorilla Glass in its build. The display has a slight curve at the edges, which makes for gesture-based navigation. The Snapdragon 888 is indeed the most powerful chip in the Android landscape.
Pros
  • Gorgeous design
  • Great performance
  • Great battery life
Cons
  • No IP rating
  • No wireless charging

techadvisor[6]

Reviewer score 66% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techadvisor have found:
The Mi 11 costs €749 with 128GB storage, and €799 for the 256GB model. There's no UK pricing yet, though I'd expect a straight Euro to Sterling conversion when it launches in March. There are no plans at all for a US launch though, so American readers should look into imports – the Euro prices equate to around $910 and $970 respectively.
Pros
  • Gorgeous design
  • Strong performance
  • Great battery life
Cons
  • Middling camera performance
  • No microSD card slot
  • No expandable storage

techradar[7]

Reviewer score 84% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
Xiaomi Mi 11 runs Google's Android 11 software with Xiaomi's MIUI 12 software laid over the top. There's far less bloatware on the Xiaomi Mi 11 than we saw on the Redmi Note 9T, which launched just a month prior. MIUI is actually a great Android overlay, bringing plenty of customization options, some of which other phones don't have.
Pros
  • Gorgeous display
  • Fast processor
  • Great battery life
Cons
  • No wireless charging
  • Software bugs

theverge[8]

Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from theverge have found:
Despite the pedestrian hardware, I'm generally happy with how the Mi 11 cameras perform. Detail and dynamic range are strong in good light, with fairly neutral color rendition. The lack of a telephoto lens hurts it, and the last-gen image sensor has its quirks. The Mi 11 isn't a phone so spectacular that I would urge you to jump through hoops in order to acquire one.
Pros
  • Very good camera system
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No telephoto lens
  • No microSD card slot

tomsguide[9]

Reviewer score 81% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomsguide have found:
Xiaomi Mi 11 has a 4,500 mAh battery, which is smaller than average for a phone of this size. The badge on the back of the Mi 11 tells you it's a 5G-ready phone, but making sure you'll actually be able to use it on a faster network is a little more complicated. The phone ships with a fair number of bundled-in Xiaomi and third-party apps.
Pros
  • Attractive design
  • Excellent performance
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No telephoto lens
  • No headphone jack

trustedreviews[10]

Reviewer score 75% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from trustedreviews have found:
Xiaomi’s MIUI skin, which sits over Android 11, is heavy. Apps would crash; the wallpaper would randomly change itself; and notifications would take significant time to appear. There are far too many duplicate apps that can’t be removed. An update to MIUI 12.5 is coming, which might fix some of the issues – but in its current state, you’ll have to spend a bit of time getting used to the Xiaomi way.
Pros
  • Gorgeous 120Hz display
  • Excellent performance
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Unreliable software
  • No 5G
