Product Overview

Sennheiser HD 250BT is an affordable on-ear (supra-aural) wireless headphone that boasts up to 25 hours of battery life. With a omni-directional microphone, the HD 250BT offers great call quality as well.
The rugged HD 250BT uses comfortable ear pads to isolate ambient noise. The Sennheiser Smart Control App that comes with the headphone gives the listeners control over their music.
The HD 250BT joins higher-end models such as the over-ear HD 350BT / HD 450BT unveiled last year.

pcmag[1]

Reviewer score 79% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
HD 250BT headphones are compatible with Bluetooth 5.0 and support AAC, AptX, and SBC. They deliver powerful low-frequency depth that neither sounds clinically flat nor overly boosted. For battery life, Sennheiser estimates 25 hours of playback, but your results will vary with your volume levels.
Pros
  • Powerful, detail-focused sound signature with EQ
  • Good battery life
  • Comfortable fit
Cons
  • No app support

techradar[2]

Reviewer score 88% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
Sennheiser HD 250BT use Bluetooth 5 for wireless connectivity, which means they'll cope with big hi-res digital audio files without problems. Codec support runs to SBC and AAC, with aptX Low Latency thrown in to guarantee synchronization between audio and video content. Battery life is as much as 25 hours from a single charge, as long as you're not caning the volume and listening to bog-standard SBC content.
Pros
  • Gorgeous, detailed sound
  • Excellent battery life
Cons
  • Not the most comfortable to wear
  • Padded headband

whathifi[3]

Reviewer score 79% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from whathifi have found:
Pairing is a breeze (aided by calm vocal prompts) and the Bluetooth connection remains rock-solid across the course of our listening. The main feature of the Sennheiser Smart Control app, aside from firmware updates and battery life notifications, is its Equaliser tab. Find something you like for certain genres of music or podcasts? Save it, deploy it later.
Pros
  • Sophisticated, expressive sound
  • Impressive battery life
  • Comfortable fit
Cons
  • Bass isn’t as wide-ranging as it could be
