Product Overview

Bose Sport Open Earbuds are true wireless headphones designed for training. They are specifically contoured to ensure a comfortable fit without pressure or risk of falling out.
Within each earbud is a small dipole transducer that does not feel strained even at high listening volumes. With dual microphones, the Sport Open Earbuds offer access to voice controls via digital personal assistants as well as clear voice calls with accurate noise rejection.
The Bose Sport Open Earbuds are certified with IPX4 water resistance. Their open design affords the user full situational awareness.
Bose also markets the Bose Sport Earbuds with a closed design. The Bose Tempo Sport Sunglasses offer another option for outdoor use.

pcmag[1]

Reviewer score 72% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
The Sport Open Earbuds deliver decent bass depth, but sub-bass isn't really part of the discussion. Orchestral and jazz tracks sound, by far, the most rewarding through the earbuds. This is simply not a pair of earphones for those looking for a big bass sound.
Pros
  • Unique, open-to-air design
  • Strong audio performance
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Sub-bass isn’t for everyone
  • No wireless charging

rtings[2]

Reviewer score 18% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from rtings have found:
The Bose Sport Open Earbuds are mediocre for neutral sound. While they have a flat and balanced mid-range, they lack a lot of low-bass. Their design doesn't really produce a wide or natural soundstage, either. On the upside, their 9.5-hour battery life should last through a long commute.
Pros
  • Can reproduce bass and treble consistently
  • Compatible with Bluetooth-enabled PCs
  • Comfortable fit
Cons
  • Lack of low-bass
  • No sound enhancement features
  • Can leak a lot of audio

tomsguide[3]

Reviewer score 58% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomsguide have found:
The Bose Sport Open Earbuds are both a unique and frustrating pair of running headphones that will likely only appeal to a very tiny audience. The buds do work well for indoor calls (I got some great clarity on Zoom calls), but you need to be in a silent setting in order to enjoy them. There's also a sense that you should be getting much more for the sub-luxury price.
Pros
  • Sleek design
  • Comfortable fit
  • Good call quality
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No active noise cancellation
  • No wireless charging
