Product Overview
Bose Tempo, Tenor, and Soprano are three new additions to the Bose Frames lineup of premium sunglasses with integrated wireless headphones. The Frames Tempo deliver the best performance and are perfect for outdoor workouts, while the Frames Tenor and Soprano come with improved style and acoustic performance over the original.
They feature Bose's proprietary Open Ear Audio technology and the smallest, virtually-invisible Bose speaker systems. Their polarized lenses block up to 99% of UV rays while look, fit, and perform like other high-end sunglasses. Made from TR90 nylon, the Bose Frames are highly durable, too.
The Frames Tempo feature custom-designed spring hinges and TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) temple tips for comfortable stability around the head. And their nose pads come in three shapes for the right amount of grip to avoid slipping down the face. A 22mm full-range driver is embedded in each temple for clear and powerful sound reproduction even during intense sports sessions.
The Tenor and Soprano feature 16mm drivers. They have better bass response and are designed for long outdoor wearing sessions.
The new dual-beam-forming array microphones replaced the single microphone in the original Bose Frames, making calls clearer. A new Volume-optimized EQ function is added for easier control of the sound output, too.

For those with bad eyesight, you can get prescription versions of the Tempo or Soprano. No one should have to look chic while working up a sweat anyway.

While the voice remains intelligible, there is some crackling and the Bose Frames Tenor simply does not do a good enough job of attenuating ambient noise and isolating voices. The touch-sensitive system is sensitive enough, but it lacks precision.
