Product Overview
MSI GeForce RTX 3090 AERO is MSI's take on the blower style RTX 3090 graphics card. It is optimized for multi-GPU setups where two cards are installed next to each other, in either gaming or data science applications.
Like all RTX 3090 cards, the MSI RTX 3090 AERO features NVIDIA's 2nd-gen RTX architecture, with improved RT Cores, Tensor Cores, and new streaming multiprocessors. Thanks to the 24GB GDDR6X memory, it is capable of gaming at 8K UHD. With two in an SLI setup, high-framerate gaming at 8K becomes a reality. For data scientists, the 24GB memory makes it possible to handle more complex models: while expensive, the RTX 3090 AERO costs only a fraction of the TESLA V100 while delivering almost comparable performance.
For pure gaming applications, however, the three-fanned cards such as the RTX 3090 Ventus 3X (OC), the RTX 3090 Gaming (X) Trio, and the RTX 3090 SUPRIM (X) are perhaps more suitable options.
