LG SN7Y 3.1.2-Channel
SoundbarProduct Gallery
Product Overview
LG SN7Y is a 3.1.2-channel soundbar with wireless subwoofer. It supports a large set of digital audio processing programs, including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
Like other premium 2020 LG soundbars, the SN7Y features Meridian Audio speakers; however, as a more affordable model, it drops the built-in Google Assistant for voice control.
The SN7Y can be paired with LG's SPK8-S wireless rear speakers to create a 5.1.2-channel listening experience. It shares the same subwoofer with the more premium models such as the flagship SN11YG.
Other soundbars unveiled at the same time include the 2.1-channel SN5Y, 3.1-channel SN6Y, 3.1.2-channel SN8YG, 5.1.2-channel SN9YG and SN10YG, and 7.1.4-channel SN11YG.

Reviewer score 75% (normalized by Neofiliac)The LG SN7Y is a very good-sounding soundbar that nails Dolby Atmos at the $500 price point. Music listening — with samples including everything from Childish Gambino's Me and Your Mama to Midland's Burn Out — offered impressive clarity. Movie watching effectively mixed lifelike action sequences and clear dialogue in movies like Star Wars: Episode IX.
Pros
- Excellent Dolby Atmos sound
