digitaltrends[1]

Reviewer score 66% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from digitaltrends have found:
The Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 is more than just a one-trick pony. It delivers in both performance and in usability of its second screen. Port selection is fantastic, offering a solid mix of gaming must-haves and future-proofing. $3,700 is a hefty price to pay, though.
Pros
  • Great performance
  • Second screen is great
  • Comfortable keyboard
Cons
  • Poor battery life
  • No built-in webcam

notebookcheck[2]

Reviewer score 63% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from notebookcheck have found:
A powerful octa-core processor, dual-channel memory and RAID 0 drives make for a smooth and responsive system. The GTX 2080 Super Max-Q graphics card supports DirectX 12 and runs at a base clock speed of 735 MHz. Selecting the power profile "Turbo" from within the Armoury Crate software results in higher frame rates.
Pros
  • Matte IPS display
  • High-quality case
  • Good battery life
  • NVMe SSD
  • Thunderbolt 3
Cons
  • No Thunderbolt 3

pcmag[3]

Reviewer score 81% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
The Zephyrus Duo is a highly proficient gaming laptop. The price tag is more to do with the 4K display, 2TB SSD, and second screen. The fans are definitely audible while gaming, but even in performance mode they're not egregious. It's not destined to influence the future, but we think it can be useful at least.
Pros
  • Sleek design
  • Unique 4K display
  • Solid performance
  • 2TB SSD
Cons
  • No Thunderbolt 3 port
  • Loud fans

pcworld[4]

Reviewer score 79% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcworld have found:
The ROG Zephyrus Duo has a 15.6-inch 60Hz 4K panel. The primary display is factory-calibrated, G-Sync-certified, and can hit 100 percent of Adobe RGB. It's not particularly bright at a measured 300 nits. The gaming experience isn't perfect, though.
Pros
  • Sleek, lightweight design
  • Excellent performance
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No webcam
  • No multi-monitor option

techadvisor[5]

Reviewer score 59% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techadvisor have found:
The Zephyrus Duo has a powerful Intel Core i9-10980HK processor. It has eight multi-threaded cores and a Turbo speed of 5.1GHz. The graphics core has a modest boost clock of 1,080MHz due to thermal concerns. The speakers are reasonable, with ample volume and decent mid-range performance. The top-end is a little tinny, though, and bass was inconsistent.
Pros
  • Stunning 4K screen
  • Superb performance
  • Excellent battery life
Cons
  • Poor thermal performance
  • Poor battery life

techradar[6]

Reviewer score 80% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
The Asus Zephyrus Duo GX550 has an Intel Core i9-10980HK, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super with Max-Q and 32GB of RAM. It has a screen brightness of 351 nits and hits just 75% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The inclusion of McAfee LiveSafe is absolutely insulting and if you get this laptop you should immediately uninstall it and replace it with one that isn't going to extort money out of you.
Pros
  • Gorgeous 4K display
  • Excellent performance
  • Great battery life
Cons
  • Nothing in particular

tomshardware[7]

Reviewer score 70% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomshardware have found:
The ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 is a top-of-the-line gaming laptop from Asus. It comes with a Core i9 processor, 2TB storage, and an Nvidia RTX 2080 Super Max-Q. There is no webcam on the laptop, which is a noticeable omission. It's still plenty capable for high-refresh 1080p gaming.
Pros
  • High-refresh 1080p gaming
  • Solid build quality
  • Comfortable keyboard
Cons
  • No webcam

trustedreviews[8]

Reviewers from trustedreviews have found:
The Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo is a monstrously powerful gaming laptop. It features an Intel Core i9-10980HK processor and an Nvidia RTX 2080 Super graphics card. In terms of actual gaming performance it was capable of hitting the golden 60fps mark in Full HD for even the most demanding titles. Since it’s equipped with an RTX graphics card, you also get access to fancy features such as ray tracing and DLSS.
Pros
  • Gorgeous 4K screen
  • Excellent gaming performance
Cons
  • Battery life could be better
  • No Thunderbolt 3
