Product Overview

HP Pavilion x360 14 (14t-dw100) is an affordable thin and light 2-in-1 convertible laptop powered by 11th-gen Intel Core mobile processors.
Like other HP Pavilion models, the Pavilion x360 14 caters to price-sensitive consumers while retaining some of the powerful features found in more upscale models. Compared to the more upscale Spectre x360 14, the Pavilion version loses Thunderbolt 4, quad speaker setup, and the higher-end display.
For those who prefer a conventional laptop, HP also offers the Pavilion 14. There is also a 15-inch Pavilion x360 model for 2020.

Reviewer score 48% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from notebookcheck have found:
The HP Pavilion x360 14 (2021) offers an unbalanced price-to-performance ratio. The device is silent most of the time. The fan becomes audible only occasionally. The battery life (7 to 9 hours) can be described as good. The touchscreen also fails: The colour reproduction is too low and the contrast is poor.
Pros
  • Matte IPS display
  • Good battery life (7 to 9 hours)
  • Fast Wi-Fi
Cons
  • CPU throttles under heavy loads
  • Mediocre speakers

Reviewer score 74% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
All five convertibles missed the 4,000-point mark we consider excellent in PCMark 10. The Core i7 Inspiron led the way, with the LG Gram something of an underperformer. You won't mistake any of these machines for a 3D rendering or video editing workstation.
Pros
  • Sleek, lightweight design
  • Solid performance
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No Thunderbolt 3 port
