External Reviews
cnet[1]
Reviewer score 77% (normalized by Neofiliac)The HP Envy x360 13 is small, stylish and light at just less than 3 pounds. The AMD Ryzen 5-4500U processor delivered performance beyond that of pricier Intel chips. It's a speedy little two-in-one that's ready for working from home or remote learning.
Pros
- Excellent performance
- Comfortable keyboard
- Good battery life
Cons
- Not the fastest AMD processor
digitaltrends[2]
Reviewer score 73% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Envy x360 has a touch display, of course, being a 2-in-1, and it works as well as always. It also supports Microsoft's newest pen protocol, which promises longer battery life (up to 30 days) and a more natural tilt function. The jury is still out on the Ryzen 4000's efficiency, but it's looking like the chips so far don't beat Intel.
Pros
- Sleek 2-in-1 design
- Solid performance
- Comfortable keyboard
Cons
- Battery life isn’t great
- No Thunderbolt 3
laptopmag[3]
Reviewer score 81% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Envy x360 13 runs Windows 10 Home and comes with a one-year warranty. It's the perfect laptop for those who want a premium notebook at an affordable price. The Envy played Dirt 3 at a smooth 78 frames per second with the graphics set to 1080p on Very High.
Pros
- Excellent performance
- Comfortable keyboard
- Good battery life
Cons
- No IR camera
- No Thunderbolt 3
notebookcheck[4]
Reviewer score 75% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Envy x360 feels closer to a Spectre x360 rather than the cheaper Pavilion x360. Key feedback is relatively firm with moderate clatter for a familiar Ultrabook typing experience as opposed to the special MagLev keys of the XPS 13 7390 2-in-1. Users will not have much to upgrade beyond the WLAN and M.2 SSD modules as RAM is soldered.
Pros
- Sleek and lightweight design
- High-quality aluminum construction
- Good battery life
Cons
- Keyboard positioning could be firmer
pcmag[5]
Reviewer score 77% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Envy x360 13 offers everything we expect from HP's Envy brand, including a solid blend of standard features, above-average computing performance, and a palatable price. This 2-in-1 convertible is among the vanguard of models equipped with AMD's latest 4th-generation Ryzen U-series processors. Its so-so display is inferior to many challengers in its crowded field.
Pros
- Pleasant design
- Excellent battery life
- Comfortable keyboard
Cons
- Lackluster performance
- No Thunderbolt 3 port
pcworld[6]
Reviewer score 81% (normalized by Neofiliac)The keyboard has a sensible layout, very defined two-level backlight, and good key travel. The trackpad supports Microsoft's Precision drivers, but the surface is one of the rougher ones we've fingered in some time. The laptop features a microSD slot that lets you easily add semi-permanent storage to the laptop.
Pros
- Sleek design
- Good battery life
- Comfortable keyboard
Cons
- No dedicated print screen button
techradar[7]
Reviewer score 84% (normalized by Neofiliac)The HP Envy x360 has an integrated Bang & Olufsen sound system and HP Audio Boost 2.0 technology. While bass tones aren't as hard-hitting as some may like, mid and high-range sounds are incredibly clean at any volume. The AMD processor means no Thunderbolt 3, but you can still take advantage of USB-C charging speeds.
Pros
- Sleek, lightweight design
- Excellent audio performance
- Comfortable keyboard backlighting
Cons
- No Thunderbolt 3
