Dell G3 15 3500 is the entry-level option in Dell's 2020 G-series gaming laptop lineup. Its feature set is roughly comparable to the Inspiron 15 7501, though the GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card comes as standard and a 1660 Ti option is available.

Designed for gaming, the FHD panels on the G3 15 3500 prioritizes refresh rate, delivering 120 or 144Hz. Slotted at the entry-level, however, Dell has refrained from adding too many bells and whistles.

Dell also markets the G5 15 5500 and G7 15 7500 gaming laptops in the 15-inch class.

The Dell G3 15 uses an Intel Core i7-10750H processor with six cores. It has a 512 GB SSD from SK Hynix, not one of the fastest models on the market. Most current games can be played smoothly with high graphics settings and in Full HD resolution.

The Dell G3 15 isn't remarkable in its design or performance, but it's a competent full HD gaming machine with a fast display at a nice price. It isn't the budget value, but the MSI Nitro 5 roughly equal in performance for even less money. If you like the look of the G3, you can configure it with a bit more storage and memory, which we'd recommend if you have the budget.
