Product Overview

Lenovo ThinkBook 13s Gen 2 is the latest iteration of Lenovo's ultra-portable mid-range business laptop computer. Available with the latest 11th-gen Intel Core or AMD Ryzen 4000 series mobile processors, it packs plenty of lasting performance for professionals on-the-go.
With a 14.9mm profile and weighing just 1.26 kg, the ThinkBook 13s Gen 2 is sleeker and lighter than ever before. The anodized aluminum body includes a dual-tone top cover that adds style to business.
The ThinkBook 13s Gen 2 features a 16:10 WQXGA display that offers a more usable viewing area. Flanked with ultra-thin bezels on both sides, the display makes for an over 90% screen-to-body ratio. The ThinkBook 13s Gen 2 also covers 100% sRGB color gamut.
Like other business laptops released by Lenovo this year, the ThinkBook 13s Gen 2 features WiFi 6 wireless connectivity. The Intel variant, thanks to the 11th-gen Intel Core processor, offers a Thunderbolt 4 port.

digitaltrends[1]

Reviewer score 88% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from digitaltrends have found:
The ThinkBook 13s Gen 2 has a 56-watt-hour battery, significantly larger than the previous model. Windows 10 Hello support is provided by a fingerprint reader built into the power button. It's not thin and light enough to beat out rivals like the Dell XPS 13, but it's also significantly less expensive.
Pros
  • Sleek, lightweight design
  • Excellent keyboard and touchpad
  • Long battery life
Cons
  • Somewhat expensive

laptopmag[2]

Reviewer score 73% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from laptopmag have found:
The ThinkBook 13s Gen 2 ships with a one-year warranty. It took the ThinkBook 12 minutes and 21 seconds to convert a 4K video to 1080p resolution. Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics are a massive improvement from the UHD graphics of old. The laptop lasted for 9 hours and 13 minutes during continuous web browsing.
Pros
  • Sleek aluminum chassis
  • Slim bezels
  • Comfortable keyboard
Cons
  • Lackluster performance
  • No Thunderbolt 3 port

pcmag[3]

Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
All five of these lightweights topped the 4,000 points that indicate excellent productivity in PCMark 10. The ThinkBook's Core i5-1135G7 mobile CPU is a quad-core, 2.4GHz (4.2GHz turbo) chip. Its top-quality, better-than-1080p-resolution display is a plus for image editing.
Pros
  • Sleek, compact design
  • Excellent productivity performance
  • Solid battery life
Cons
  • No SD card slot or microSD card slot
  • No Thunderbolt 3 port

techradar[4]

Reviewer score 85% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
The ThinkBook 13s runs an Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor. It is Intel Evo certified, so we weren't surprised at all to see it make it past the nine hour mark in our battery tests. It doesn't fare quite so well against its competitors when it comes to battery life though. McAfee does make it onto our list of the best antivirus software, but it just barely makes the list.
Pros
  • Light and compact
  • Excellent performance
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No fingerprint scanner
  • No webcam
