Lenovo ThinkBook 14 Gen 2 is the second iteration of the company's mid-range business laptop. Despite its entry-level price, the ThinkBook 14 Gen 2 offers the latest mobile processors from both Intel (ThinkBook 14 Gen 2 i) and AMD, WiFi 6, and up to 40GB dual-channel 3200MHz DDR4 support.
Debuted together with the ThinkBook 15 Gen 2, it features sleek design and flexible storage options: The elegant device is cover by anodized aluminum, while the top cover has a dual-tone finish like the ThinkBook 15 Gen 2. Bezels as thin as 5mm surrounds the display, contributing to the 85% screen-to-body ratio.

Reviewer score 65%The Intel Core i5-1135G7 is a CPU with four cores (eight threads with Hyper-Threading) from the "Tiger Lake" series. It has a typical consumption of 12 to 28 watts with clock rates of 2.4 to 4.2 GHz. Even at minimum idle usage, the Lenovo ThinkBook 14 Gen 2 consumes more power. In line with the high consumption, the battery life of the internal 45 Wh battery is poor.

Reviewer score 71%Despite its low contrast ratio, the ThinkBook 14’s display offered a decent image quality in day-to-day situations. Outdoor usability is limited at best due to its poor display brightness, which is too low to overpower sunlight. Viewing angles were also not as wide as expected. When looked at from all four corners we noticed some minor color tint.
