Product Overview

SIGMA 105mm F2.8 DG DN MACRO | Art is a full-frame telephoto macro lens for both Leica L-mount and Sony E-mount mirrorless systems. It delivers 1:1 reproduction ratio at a minimum focusing distance of 29.5 cm.
An autofocus lens, the 105mm F2.8 DG DN MACRO | Art delivers excellent optical performance throughout the aperture ranging, making it viable for general photography, such as portrait works, besides macro photography.
When combined with TC-1411 (1.4x) or TC-2011 (2.0x) teleconverters, this lens can deliver even higher magnification while keeping the working distance.
The 105mm F2.8 is the first macro lens in SIGMA's Art line of lenses.

Reviewer score 85% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
Even on a camera with a superb autofocus system, the 105mm takes a bit of time to drive across its entire range. Close-up and distant-only settings are available, as well as a full-range option. The lens projects a life-size (1:1) image of a subject onto your camera's sensor.
Pros
  • Excellent image quality
  • Excellent autofocus
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No manual focus
  • No optical stabilization
