Product Overview
MSI Prestige 14 Evo A11M is a mid-range business laptop slotted below the Summit series and above the Modern series. Powered by 11th-gen Intel Core processors, the Prestige 14 Evo is built compact, lightweight, and durable.
Available in three stylish colors, the Prestige 14 Evo benefits from an ergonomic hinge that raises the keyboard 5 degrees when the lid is open.
Like all premium MSI laptops launched in 2020, the Prestige series comes with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless connectivity. They also boast Thunderbolt 4 support as well as PCIe Gen4 SSD.
Compared to more powerful models in the 11th-gen Intel-powered Prestige range, the Prestige 14 Evo loses the discrete graphics.

External Reviews
digitaltrends[1]
Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)The MSI Prestige 14 Evo is the fastest Intel U-series laptop we've tested. It competes more strongly against AMD's latest offerings than the rest of the class. It does so while providing a reasonable battery life. At $1,199 you're getting a very well-configured laptop with only a slightly flexible display.
Pros
- Fastest Intel U-series laptop we’ve tested
- Stunning OLED display
- Decent battery life
Cons
- Display brightness could be better
gizmodo[2]
Reviewer score 83% (normalized by Neofiliac) MSI's flagship Intel Evo-certified productivity laptop costs $1,200. Battery life, charging speed, USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, design—almost everything. Prestige 14 Evo's strength is not necessarily in 3D rendering or video transcoding. It exports a lot faster in Adobe Premiere Pro than Handbrake.
Pros
- Sleek, lightweight design
- Long battery life
- Comfortable keyboard
Cons
- Touchpad could be better
- Touchpad is a little small
laptopmag[3]
Reviewer score 76% (normalized by Neofiliac) MSI's Prestige 14 Evo is equipped with Intel's integrated Iris Xe graphics. The ultrabook is certified through Intel's Evo platform, which means it's guaranteed to offer nine hours of battery life. It's on our laptops with the best battery life list, but it's no match for the MacBook Pro.
Pros
- Color-accurate display
- Fast video transcoding
- Comfortable keyboard
Cons
- Dim display
- Dim display

Reviewer score 77% (normalized by Neofiliac) MSI Prestige 14 Evo is an interesting showcase of the Evo platform. The 11th Gen Core i7 CPU performed well in a variety of tests. Even light gaming is possible if you lower your settings. My biggest issues are the way the left wrist rest gets warm, and the lack of high-speed Type-A USB ports.
Pros
- Good build quality
- Good battery life
- Decent performance
Cons
- No Thunderbolt 3
notebookcheck[5]
Reviewer score 56% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Prestige 14 Evo boasts a very good system performance. The quad-core processor's base clock speed is 3.0 GHz, and up to 4.8 GHz is possible via Turbo Boost. The 512 GB drive from Phison partly leaves the Samsung and Intel SSDs of the competitors behind in the CrystalDiskMark and AS SSD benchmarks.
Pros
- Matte IPS display
- Good battery life
- NVMe SSD
- Good system performance
Cons
- High temperatures under load
- No Thunderbolt 3
theverge[6]
Reviewer score 55% (normalized by Neofiliac)The 1185G7 is a clear improvement over lower-clocked Tiger Lake chips. Its integrated graphics seem to be neck and neck with those of the M1. Battery life is okay, but not the best. MSI's Center for Business and Productivity is a bit of a pain to use.
Pros
- Fantastic performance
- Good portability
- Decent battery life
Cons
- Dim screen
- Loud fans
- Mediocre audio
tomshardware[7]
Reviewer score 62% (normalized by Neofiliac)The MSI Prestige 14 Evo has a 720p webcam that's true-to-life in low light. The laptop's fans were on full blast most of the time, and I quickly took to turning the MSI off when it wasn't in use. The Razer Book 13 has a brighter screen as well as louder and, in our experience, clearer audio.
Pros
- Sleek design
- Bright, colorful screen
- Strong audio performance
Cons
- No Thunderbolt 3 port
