Product Overview
Sennheiser MKE 200 is a compact microphone designed for DSLR or mirrorless cameras and smartphones. A condenser microphone, the MKE 200 works without batteries.
At its heart, the MKE 200 has a directional capsule that helps you keep your voice clear when talking to the camera. The capsule is shock-mounted inside the casing to reduce handling noise. The included furry windshield protects the microphone from wind noises, too.
Besides the windshield, a locking 3.5mm TRS cable for DSLR or mirrorless cameras, a locking 3.5mm TRRS cable for smartphones, and a soft pouch are included.
In April 2021, Sennheiser further introduced the MKE 200 Mobile Kit that includes a Manfrotto PIXI Mini tripod and a Sennheiser smartphone clamp. It is introduced next to the MKE 400 Mobile Kit as well as a number of other mobile kits.

digitaltrends[1]
Reviewer score 76% (normalized by Neofiliac)The MKE 200 is an excellent mic for vloggers and videographers that find learning audio daunting. The plug-and-shoot design means there are no settings to mess with or even batteries to charge. The plastic construction is unsurprising for a budget accessory, but it doesn't feel like it will break easily with typical use.

The mic's overall signal is crisp and clear, but you'll want to experiment with distance from the camera/mic setup.
