Sony LA-EA5 mount adapter allows users to use a large collection of A-mount lenses on E-mount mirrorless camera bodies. Compared to its predecessor, the LA-EA4, the LA-EA5 features a more compact design.
The LA-EA5 enables high autofocus performance and high-speed shooting with A-mount SSM (Super Sonic wave Motor) and SAM (Smooth Autofocus Motor) lenses as well as A-mount lenses without internal focus motors.
On A7R IV and A6600, high-speed continuous shooting with autofocus and auto-exposure (AF/AE) tracking up to 11fps is possible. So it is with Real-time Eye AF for both humans and animals as well as Real-time Tracking.
