Product Overview

The Logitech MX Master 3 and MX Keys are premium wireless input devices in the company's Master Series. Either is powerful and reliable on its own, and the two pair well together in performance as well as design.
The MX Master 3 features the all-new MagSpeed Scroll Wheel: Driven by electromagnets, it allows you to scroll through thousands of lines silently in seconds. It also sports Logitech MX signature Darkfield 4000 DPI sensor that tracks on all surfaces, including glass.
The MX Keys is equipped with Perfect Stroke technology that delivers tactile typing experience on a low-profile keyboard. It also offers smart illumination with proximity sensor and ambient light sensor to save battery and reduce distraction. A detachable palm rest is available with the MX Keys Plus version.
Both the MX Master 3 and MX Keys are compatible with Logitech Flow technology and can seamlessly switch and control up to three computers. They feature dual connect, being able to work with Logitech's USB receiver or via Bluetooth.
The for Mac version of the MX Master 3 and MX Keys feature Mac optimized firmware.

The Logitech MX Master 3 is the best mouse you can buy, but that doesn't mean there aren't some excellent alternatives out there. With its comfort, customization for enhanced productivity, and the ability to use across multiple PCs it is the near-perfect keyboard and mouse. Not only is it extremely comfortable, but it can be used across several PCs and can help boost your productivity.

  • Long battery life
Cons
  • Nothing in particular

Reviewers from laptopmag have found:
The MX Master 3 prides itself on various types of wireless connectivity. USB, Bluetooth, Windows, Mac, Android, even iOS (with a few tweaks) works with every system and both major connection protocols. The mouse was extremely comfortable to use during an 8-hour workday, and the extra button commands came in handy.
Pros
  • Sleek design
  • Comfortable to use
  • USB-C and Bluetooth connectivity
Cons
  • Lack of customization options

macworld[3]

Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from macworld have found:
The MX Master 3 design doesn't deviate much from previous MX mice, including the MX Master 2S. It's a comfortable design for me, and I never experience any fatigue or discomfort. The scroll wheel between the right and left mouse buttons can automatically switch from ratcheted scrolling to free spinning.
Pros
  • Comfortable design
  • Easy to switch between two devices
  • Works with up to three devices
Cons
  • Can’t copy files from one computer to another

pcmag[4]

Reviewer score 88% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
The MX Master 3 uses Logitech's long-running Darkfield sensor, which tracks at up to 4,000 dots per inch. The mouse supports three discrete wireless channels, so you can connect up to three devices to the mouse at once. Like past MX Master mice, the Master 3 allows for app-specific customizations.
Pros
  • Sleek design
  • Easy to use
  • Supports multiple devices at once
Cons
  • Some lag when connected to multiple devices

t3[5]

Reviewer score 80% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from t3 have found:
The Logitech MX Keys keyboard and MX Master 3 mouse hit that sweet spot for users who want a powerful, superior set of input devices. Both devices can be picked up separately, but they're designed to work together (we haven't been able to spot any bundle deals on the web, however) With a free add-on program, you can use both the keyboard and mouse across several Windows and Mac systems at once.
Pros
  • Gorgeous design
  • Easy to use
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Expensive for what you get

techradar[6]

Reviewer score 83% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
The MX Master 3 is slightly smaller, sleeker, and more lightweight than its predecessor. The rubberised finish of the palm and side grips are even more noticeable on this mouse for better gripping. It uses the same Darkfield high precision technology in its sensor, giving it the same high performance as the Master 2s. It has inherited the Smartshift technology, which lets it automatically shift between free spin mode and click-to-click mode.
Pros
  • Sleek design
  • Improved scroll wheel
  • Improved side buttons
Cons
  • Not as powerful as the Master 2s

tomsguide[7]

Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomsguide have found:
The MX Master 3 has preprogrammed features for Microsoft Word, Photoshop and Chrome. The curved shape and thumb nook make the mouse extremely comfortable to use for long periods of time. The mouse can connect via either Bluetooth or USB dongle. It's helpful that you don't need to download the Options software to use this mouse.
Pros
  • Sleek design
  • Comfortable to use
  • Highly customizable
Cons
  • Nothing in particular

tomshardware[8]

Reviewer score 87% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomshardware have found:
Logitech's Flow lets you use the same mouse and keyboard to control up to four PCs at once. With Flow activated, your mouse will go to the next PC by your choice of moving to a certain edge. The MX Master 3 has a battery life of up to 70 days on a full charge and up to three hours from a one-minute charge.
Pros
  • Easy to use
  • Works with multiple PCs at once
  • Customizable scroll wheel
Cons
  • No Bluetooth LE support

The Logitech MX Master 3 is one of the best office mice of the year. It features a 4000 DPI sensor, complete with Logitech’s Darkfield tracking. This makes it more precise than any of its predecessors, or most other dedicated office mice. With the additional thumbwheel present, it opens up a whole new way of easing your workload, especially if you’re using Photoshop or Final Cut Pro X for Mac.
Pros
  • Comfortable design
  • Comfortable thumb wheel
  • Excellent software
Cons
  • Mediocre battery life
