Product Overview

The 5th-generation RAM 1500 is the most luxurious and technologically-advanced truck ever to wear the RAM marque. Its optimized frame and powertrain deliver weight significant reduction (102 kg) and higher efficiency than its predecessor, too.
The RAM 1500 features the 4th-gen Uconnect system with a 12-inch reconfigurable touchscreen as well as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. A new active noise cancellation system and acoustic glass reduce ambient noise down to a mere 67.1 dB. For parking, a 360-degree surround view camera is available for the first time.
A unique link-coil rear suspension system is standard, while an air suspension with five height settings for maximum off-road capability as well as aerodynamic performance is optional. Wind-tunnel honed the exterior shape of the RAM 1500 that enjoys best-in-class aerodynamics, and grille shutters, air dam, and the optional air suspension further improves aerodynamic performance.
The 5th-gen RAM 1500 is available with a wide range of trim levels. Among them, RAM 1500 Rebel is the most off-road capable version, while the RAM 1500 Limited is the most luxurious.

Reviewer score 89% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from cnet have found:
The 2019 Ram 1500 comes in a wide variety of trim levels, with two- or four-wheel drive, Quad or Crew cabs and two different bed lengths. Pricing starts as low as $31,795 for a lowest-spec Tradesman model and climbs to $53,240 before options for the range-topping Limited.
Pros
  • Powerful V8 engine
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Excellent infotainment tech
Cons
  • No four-corner air suspension

digitaltrends[3]

Reviewer score 71% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from digitaltrends have found:
The 2019 Ram 1500 isn't the most powerful full-size pickup on sale. The body-on-frame builds are inherently rougher than unibody counterparts. A coil spring rear suspension and active noise-cancelling limit ride harshness. The cabin volume is on par with vastly more aerodynamic, premium-grade sedans.
Pros
  • Powerful V8 engine
  • Sleek styling
  • Comfortable ride
Cons
  • Lackluster infotainment system
