Product Overview

The 3rd-generation Honda Passport is a mid-size crossover that is handsome, capable, and dependable.
Seating five, the Passport is based on Honda's reinforced unibody midsize light-truck platform. It wears a modern styling with aggressive black grille, increase ride height, and more athletic stance compared to the three-row Honda Pilot. Inside, the Passport offers best-in-class passenger space and interior volume.
Powered by Honda's 3.5L SOHC direct-injected V6 and the company's second-generation 9-speed automatic transmission, the Passport is available with i-VTM4 torque-vectoring all-wheel drive system that is highly capable across difficult terrains.
Naturally, the 3rd-gen Passport comes with the latest technology, including the standard Honda Sensing suite of safety and drive assist systems as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.

cnet[1]

Reviewer score 79% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from cnet have found:
Honda's 3.5-liter V6 is a refined engine, with smooth power delivery and ample midrange punch. Infotainment tech is solid, but unremarkable: It's easy to navigate, with clearly labeled icons. All-wheel-drive models can tow up to 5,000 pounds, which is plenty for a small camper.
Pros
  • Powerful V6 engine
  • Excellent infotainment tech
  • Comfortable to drive
Cons
  • Noisy push-button shifter
  • Expensive for what you get
