Product Overview

The Hyundai Palisade is a mid-size crossover that sits atop Hyundai's global lineup. It seats up to eight with power third-row seats and one-touch second-row folding. Naturally, the most advanced of technologies from Hyundai have found their ways into the Palisade.
Inside, the Palisade features luxurious seating with optional quilted Nappa leather. Rear seat passengers enjoy an industry-first roof vent diffuser for quieter, draft-free, and more uniform A/C airflow. Both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are supported.
The Palisade's infotainment system and instrument cluster feature a 10.25" display and a 12.3" display respectively.
Technologies that the Palisade enjoys extends to safety and driver assist functionalities. For example, a first-in-class Blind View Monitor provides easy-to-see body-side views when the turn signal is activated to complement the standard Blind Sport Collision Avoidance Assist.

The Palisade offers an exemplary cabin that's loaded with class-above materials. The main cupholders feature a spring-loaded retractable brace that can be folded out of the way. There's 18 cubic feet behind the third row, 45 with the way-backs stowed, or over 86 with two rows flat.

Pros
  • Class-leading cabin tech
  • Excellent infotainment tech
  • Comfortable ride
Cons
  • No Wi-Fi hotspot

Reviewers from cnet have found the following***:
The new Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy looks and feels like a luxury vehicle. The 3.8-liter V6 engine makes 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. Despite the luxury trimmings, this vehicle's fuel economy doesn't suffer. Eschewing all options, an entry-level 2021 Hyundai is an entirely reasonable $33,700.

Pros
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Comfortable third-row seats
  • Excellent infotainment system
Cons
  • Lackluster fuel economy

Reviewers from digitaltrends have found the following***:
Palisade's MacPherson Strut front suspension and self-leveling rear setup make for an excellent ride. The beauty of the Palisade is that its value proposition actually improves as you go up in trim level. Hyundai's 10-year, 10,000-mile powertrain warranty is known industry-wide as one of the most generous.

Pros
  • Power-folding third row
  • Competitively priced
  • Good infotainment
