androidauthority[1]

Reviewers from androidauthority have found the following***:
The Razer Opus is comfortable, lightweight, and sturdy. It offers largely accurate audio — a feat in and of itself, given Razer's historically bass-y leanings. Its noise cancelling isn't best in class, but it offers a decent amount of attenuation. The battery life isn't the best you'll find, but there's no slouch.

Pros
  • Comfortable, lightweight design
  • Decent noise cancelling
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No Bluetooth multipoint support
  • No headphone jack

digitaltrends[2]

Reviewer score 71%
Reviewers from digitaltrends have found the following***:
The Razer Opus have a hybrid design consisting of two external and two internal mics on each earcup. They won't beat out the Sony WH-1000XM3s and Sennheiser Momentum 3s of the world, but they get impressively close to that upper echelon. For the cost, I think these headphones will produce great sound quality for most people.

Pros
  • Impressive active noise cancellation
  • Excellent battery life
  • Comfortable fit
Cons
  • No Bluetooth support
  • Mediocre sound quality

laptopmag[3]

Reviewer score 67%
Reviewers from laptopmag have found the following***:
The Razer Opus is a good pair of wireless, active noise-canceling headphones. Its ANC works perfectly for keeping out ambient noise, but its overall sound-stopping power isn't as effective as competing ANC headsets. Razer had the Opus certified for high-fidelity sound by THX. The Opus delivers clear, nuanced sound across its range.

Pros
  • Clear, nuanced sound
  • Good battery life
  • Supports Bluetooth 4.2
Cons
  • Noise cancellation isn’t as effective as competing headsets

pcmag[4]

Reviewer score 77%
Reviewers from pcmag have found the following***:
Razer's Opus headphones are tuned to offer a full, clear sound, though they don't provide much in the way of deep bass. The active noise cancellation here is good at tamping down lower frequencies, but it doesn't block out higher frequencies as well. The THX EQ preset sounds balanced and full, despite the lack of bass.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Powerful active noise cancellation
  • Lightweight design
  • Good stereo imaging
Cons
  • Limited customization options
  • No EQ presets

rtings[5]

Reviewer score 55%
Reviewers from rtings have found the following***:
The Razer Opus are good headphones for neutral sound listening. Their ANC works exceptionally well and does a remarkable job of blocking out the low rumble of bus or plane engines. They're very comfortable, last nearly 33 hours off a single charge, and have easy to use physical buttons to control your music.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Very well-balanced and accurate sound profile out-of-the-box
  • Decently consistent across users or reseats
  • Comfortable enough to wear all day without causing fatigue
  • Excellent noise isolation performance
Cons
  • Can't connect wirelessly via Bluetooth
  • Not compatible with PS4 or Xbox One
  • Doesn't leak very much audio

techadvisor[6]

Reviewer score 82%
Reviewers from techadvisor have found the following***:
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) does a fantastic job at negating the noise of passing cars and screaming kids. It's not completely silent (then again, what ANC is?) but it's certainly better than what you'll find on most other £200 headphones. The adaptive noise cancellation is powered by four microphones, dotted around the headphones, which intelligently analyse and cancel outside noises. Quick Attention mode uses the external mics to enhance ambient noise and allow you quickly reply to that annoying passer-by that's trying to talk to you.

Pros
  • Superb ANC performance
  • Comfortable fit
  • Great battery life
Cons
  • Noise cancellation isn’t perfect

techhive[7]

Reviewer score 68%
Reviewers from techhive have found the following***:
Razer Opus ANC headphones are better than average in cancelling out low-end noise. plush earcups to be a bit lacking in isolating the higher frequencies. For the price, the Opus is very comfortable and well designed, despite the smaller ear cups and snug fit.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Comfortable and well-designed design
  • Easy to wear
  • Good ANC performance
Cons
  • Slightly uncomfortable ear cups

techradar[8]

Reviewer score 85%
Reviewers from techradar have found the following***:
The Razer Opus has a monochromatic design that frankly looks amazing. Even under the subway tracks, the active noise cancellation works like a charm. The only real issue here is that they don't get quite as loud as the Bose QC35 II that we're used to. But, again, that's a headset that costs significantly more.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Comfortable to wear
  • Auto-pause/auto-play
  • Great battery life
Cons
  • Not quite as loud as the Bose QC35 II

theverge[9]

Reviewer score 67%
Reviewers from theverge have found the following***:
The Razer Opus are noise-canceling headphones aimed at persuading people away from the Sonys and Sonys of the world. The noise cancellation is an area where the Opus doesn't reach parity with more expensive headphones. There are no mandatory agreements that you need to agree to, but you must first allow the app to access your device's location.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Excellent sound quality
  • Good battery life
  • Comfortable to wear
Cons
  • Noise cancellation isn’t as effective as other noise-canceling headphones

trustedreviews[10]

Reviewer score 73%
Reviewers from trustedreviews have found the following***:
Razer Opus have taken a distinctly non-gaming approach to their design. The headphones feature a monotone finish that’s free of RGB lighting. Tonal balance is excellent and a serious step up on most of the competing £200 sets. ANC performance is also good, but the ANC manages to easily drown out the sound of the busy road outside my flat.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Excellent sound quality
  • Excellent battery life
  • Comfortable fit
Cons
  • Limited customization options
  • No IP water resistance rating

wired[11]

Reviewer score 77%
Reviewers from wired have found the following***:
The Razer Opus offers about 25 hours of use (with ANC active) per charge. They automatically pause or play when you take them off or put them on. Music dances from one earphone to another, sizzling back and forth. Games sound amazing, but the microphone isn't as impressive.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Sleek, comfortable design
  • Comfortable ear cups
  • Active noise canceling
Cons
  • Mediocre microphone
