Product Overview

Wharfedale Linton Heritage inherits the three-way stand mount layout of the original Linton with a substantial cabinet and introduces new driver technologies.
With a timeless retro design, the Linton features a large 8" Kevlar woofer mounted on a rigid, die-cast chassis. The Kevlar midrange is housed in its own internal enclosure, and the 1" fabric-dome tweeter has a high-flux ferrite magnet.
The original Wharfedale Linton was a premium hi-fi speaker at an affordable price made between 1965 and the end of the 1970s.
A pair of Linton Heritage is priced at £999.95, while matching stands costs an additional 200.

hifichoice[1]

Sentiment Score 74%
Reviewers from hifichoice have found the following***:
The Linton is quite different to your average modern ‘tower’ loudspeaker. It has a sense of physicality and heft to the lower registers that’s really something special. Thanks to this relaxed, insouciant character, the music saunters along happily and everything sounds fun – whatever musical genre you choose.

Sentiment Score 90%
Reviewers from whathifi have found the following***:
The Wharfedale speakers have a brilliant sense of scale and space. No one instrument dominates - not Jagger's voice, not the tambourine and not the drums. The bass guitar has a wonderfully rounded hum to its strings, quite separate to the weight of the kick drum. With effortless weight and elbow patches, you don't need whisky to enjoy it.
