Reviewer score 79% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from laptopmag have found:
Sennheiser has equipped the Momentum 3 with a Transparency Mode for those moments you have to interact with someone, but don't necessarily want to stop jamming. When the mode is activated, all the ambient noise comes into the cans which, depending on how loud you're playing your music, can blend in rather amusing ways. The Bose 700 did a better job of keeping unnecessary ambient noises out which let me better focus on the conversation.
Pros
  • Great sound quality
  • Comfortable fit
  • Great battery life
Cons
  • No noise cancelling
  • Mediocre call quality

Reviewer score 58% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from ndtv have found:
At Rs 34,990, the Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless are among the most expensive pairs of headphones in the segment. While the brand and styling might help justify the price to some extent, the important thing here is performance. Regardless of whether we listened to streaming music or high-resolution tracks, the headphones sounded rich and detailed with pretty much every kind of genre we tried. The soundstage wasn't quite as wide and all-encompassing as we've experienced with other headphones in this price range.
Pros
  • Well-built design
  • Good active noise cancellation
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Sound leakage at high volumes

notebookcheck[3]

Reviewer score 71% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from notebookcheck have found:
The Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless offer a wide sound stage with a lot of depth. They convince with their playfulness and differentiated reproduction and are at home in all genres. The active noise cancellation muffles low background noise very reliably. The voice quality is decent and the headphones can also be used well for telephony in quiet environments.
Pros
  • High-quality leather and stainless steel
  • Long-lasting battery life
  • Good sound quality
Cons
  • No aptX HD or aptX Low Latency

pcmag[4]

Reviewer score 75% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
The Sennheiser Momentum Wireless offer powerful active noise cancellation. It does a great job of tamping down lows, mids, and highs. The transparent listening mode is quite effective, making it easy to converse without removing the headphones. The bass depth is fuller and richer when the ANC is on.
Pros
  • Powerful active noise cancellation
  • Solid audio performance
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Mediocre mic quality

techradar[5]

Reviewer score 82% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
The Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless feature decent noise cancellation. They don't block out as much environmental noise as rivals like the Sony WH-1000XM3 or the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700, but you'll still be able to listen to your music in relative peace. With 42mm transducers, these headphones are made to replicate the "balanced depth and precision of a studio recording"
Pros
  • Gorgeous, detailed sound
  • Comfortable fit
  • Decent noise cancellation
Cons
  • Battery life could be better

tomsguide[6]

Reviewer score 51% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomsguide have found:
The Momentum 3 supports Siri, Google Assistant, and Alexa. There is no power button or sleep mode, so I learned the hard way that the only method of turning them off is by collapsing them. The low volume levels make it difficult to communicate, especially in rowdy environments. Sennheiser makes up for its poor call quality is in wireless performance.
Pros
  • Sleek, retro design
  • Comfortable fit
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Mediocre noise cancellation
  • Poor call quality

whathifi[7]

Reviewer score 88% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from whathifi have found:
Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless are wireless noise-cancelling headphones. Support aptX Low Latency, which improves synchronicity of audio and video. Built-in Bluetooth tracker and support for Tile. Battery life is 17 hours, compared to Bose's 20 hours and Sony's 30 hours.
Pros
  • Detailed, rhythmic sound
  • Intuitive controls
  • Excellent battery life
Cons
  • On-cup controls aren’t as intuitive as rivals
