autoexpress[1]

Reviewer score 71% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autoexpress have found:
The new Volvo V60 Cross Country is a total revolution over the previous-generation estate. This new model gets a different bodykit to its lower-slung siblings, with a more rugged look created by the use of plenty of hard black plastic cladding. And it rides 60mm higher than a regular V60, thanks to a combination of suspension changes and larger-diameter tyres. It has a marginally more supple ride than the regular car, as well as some genuine off-road ability.
Pros
  • Fantastic off-road capability
  • Excellent infotainment system
Cons
  • Slightly more expensive than the regular V60

carmagazine[2]

Reviewer score 72% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
The V60 Cross Country is a raised up V60 with a more rugged all-round look. Ride height has been increased by 60mm over the V60, while all-wheel drive, an automatic gearbox and Hill Descent Control are fitted as standard. Front parking sensors also make the kit list, as does comfort-orientated suspension. The V60 CC proves itself to be a very capable machine indeed.
Pros
  • Rugged looks
  • Comfortable ride height
  • Great off-road performance
Cons
  • No 4x4 option

Reviewers from cnet have found:
Volvo says the 2020 V60 Cross Country will be available to order in the first quarter of this year. Pricing hasn't been released just yet, but I'll bet it comes in right around $45,000. With 8.3 inches of ground clearance, this thing can boldly go where many wagons can't.
Pros
  • Gorgeous interior
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Excellent infotainment
Cons
  • Sensus Connect is a little slow to respond to inputs
  • Lack of standard equipment

digitaltrends[4]

Reviewer score 69% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from digitaltrends have found:
Volvo says the V60 Cross Country has a zero-to-60-mph time of 6.8 seconds. It's not a fast wagon by any means, but it has enough pep in its step to satisfy the needs of the average motorist. Its closest rival is the Audi A4 Allroad, a model which starts at $45,700.
Pros
  • Excellent all-wheel drive
  • Sleek interior
  • Comfortable ride
Cons
  • Lacklustre infotainment system
  • Not as comfortable as rivals
