Reviewer score 69%
Reviewers from autocar have found the following***:
No car of this height and weight is going to act like a coupé half a tonne lighter, but there are hints of Astonness. It feels like you sit relatively low for an SUV, with a high window line. It’s much more car-like than the Range Rover or Bentayga, more crossover than 4x4.

Pros
  • Fantastic infotainment system
  • Lots of fun to drive
Cons
  • It’s too big for some people

autoexpress[2]

Reviewers from autoexpress have found the following***:
Aston Martin has gone with what it knows best - applying its technical wizardry to produce the finest-handling SUV available. It's less brash than a Lambo, not as bold as a Bentley and not as commonplace as a Porsche. Although the list price is rather steep, it delivers a great package with genuine 4x4 credentials, family practicality and little sacrifice of power and handling.

Pros
  • Fantastic 4x4 performance
  • Stylish looks
Cons
  • Pricey for what it offers

autoexpress[3]

Reviewer score 85%
Reviewers from autoexpress have found the following***:
Pirelli all-season tyres were difficult to fault in terms of grip, comfort and noise. The driving position is spot on with plenty of adjustment, but the array of buttons on the centre console is a bit fussy. Aston CEO Andy Palmer has promised that all models will feature electrification by 2025. With no big batteries to hide anywhere, we defy anyone to feel short changed sitting in the back.

Pros
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Pirelli all-season tyres
  • Excellent off-road performance
Cons
  • No wireless phone charging

autoexpress[4]

Reviewers from autoexpress have found the following***:
Bentayga sprints from 0-62mph in an identical 4.5 seconds. Aston trumps the Bentley's top speed by 1mph, at 181mph. Both cars feature 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats. Lamborghini Urus uses the same V8 as the Bentayga, tuned to produce 641bhp.

Pros
  • Powerful V8 engine
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Stylish looks
Cons
  • Lack of safety tech

cnet[5]

Reviewers from cnet have found the following***:
The interior of the Aston Martin DBX is 95% awesome and 5% awful. The air vents are flimsy, the plastic gear selector buttons feel cheap and the switchgear on the center console is sort of lousy. Apple CarPlay is finally available, though it annoyingly doesn't occupy the full width of the display.

Pros
  • Gorgeous interior
  • Fantastic infotainment tech
  • Comfortable to drive
Cons
  • Lackluster tech
  • Awkward rear end
