Dell Alienware m17 R2 is a high-end gaming laptop powered by up to 9th-gen Intel Core i9 CPU and NVIDIA RTX 2080 GPU in a sleek magnesium alloy chassis, which now adopts Alienware's new Legend industrial design.
The thinnest 17-inch gaming laptop on the market at its launch, the m17 R2 weighs under 6lbs; nevertheless, it offers 1.7mm key travel from its newly-engineered keyboard backlit by AlienFX per-key RGB lighting.
With Alienware's unique Graphics Amplifier interface, the m17 R2 can be boosted by an eGPU via dedicated PCIe bandwidth.
Alongside the Alienware m17 R2, Dell also introduced the m15 R2 at Computex 2019.

It's important to become familiar with Alienware Command Center as fan noise is intimately tied to Dell's pre-installed software. The integrated mouse keys are shallow in travel with moderate feedback when pressed.
