rtings[1]
Reviewer score 63% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Dell S3220DGF is a good monitor for mixed use. It has a large size and its 1440p resolution allows for a good amount of multi-tasking, but it doesn't offer as much real estate as a full 4k screen would. It can display HDR games with bright, vivid colors due to its wide color gamut and decent HDR peak brightness.
Pros
- Outstandingly low input lag
- Good contrast ratio and black uniformity
- High resolution
Cons
- Disappointing viewing angles
- No local dimming feature
tomsguide[2]
Reviewer score 86% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Dell S3220DGF gaming monitor works well enough in some games, and beautifully with others. It offers a variety of presets, for genres like MOBA/RTS, FPS and RPG. Most of the presets are optimized for gaming, and have a bad habit of obscuring text. But they're also easy enough to switch, when you're between applications.
Pros
- Sleek design
- Solid gaming performance
- Good color accuracy
Cons
- Lackluster brightness
tomshardware[3]
Reviewer score 82% (normalized by Neofiliac), but there's a 3.5mm analog output for headphone. You control volume via the on-screen display (OSD) The S3220DGF's OSD takes on Dell's usual all-business style. Pressing any button brings up a quick menu with picture mode, HDR mode, black stabilizer info and the overdrive setting.
Pros
- Wide color gamut
- Excellent build quality
- Excellent gaming performance
Cons
- No sRGB mode
- No HDR mode
trustedreviews[4]
Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Dell S32DGF has a VA panel with 10-bit colour and a 4ms response time. Those figures are more suited to single-player gaming and mainstream eSports gameplay – that response time needs to be lower for high-level competition. The Dell is easy to build, with a stand that snaps into place and a base that attaches with a single screw. Its on-screen display is fast and sensibly organised, and it’s navigated with a row of no-nonsense buttons.
Pros
- Excellent contrast ratio
- Impressive sRGB coverage
- Decent build quality
Cons
- No portrait mode option
