Product Overview

Intel Xeon W-1390 is a premium workstation CPU in the Intel Xeon W Rocket Lake lineup. Introduced in Q2 21, it boasts 8 cores and 16 threads.

Compared to Comet Lake-based Xeon W chip, however, the W-1390 has two fewer cores and four fewer threads. To many, this is unacceptable.

This CPU is still built on the 14 nm process and comes with only 16 MB Intel Smart Cache.

Fortunately, PCIe-4 is supported. There is an integrated GPU that can come quite handy.
