Intel Core i9-12900HK is a high-end mobile CPU in the 12th Generation Intel Core Alder Lake lineup. Introduced in Q1 22, it boasts 14 cores and 20 threads.
It is the "flagship" model of the H-series. Unfortunately, it is still limited to PCIe 4.
Built on the Intel 7 process, it comes with 24 MB Intel® Smart Cache. Last but not least, there is an integrated GPU that can come quite handy.

Reviewer score 83%The Core i9-12900HK at the heart of the MSI Raider GE76 is our first taste of Alder Lake in a portable system. Outright performance easily exceeds everything else on the market. The new Golden Cove P-Cores offer a significant uplift in terms of instructions-per-clock (IPC) and allow Intel to regain the single-thread performance crown.

Reviewer score 82%Core i9-12900HK is 35 percent faster than the 11th-gen Core i9. Laptops with two SSDs should use very little power unless it’s actively being accessed. We see a double-digit increase in performance, with a 15 percent to 19 percent increase in lightly threaded tasks.
