rtings[2]

Reviewer score 21% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from rtings have found:
The Hisense A6G is an okay TV overall. The wide viewing angles and decent reflection handling make it a decent choice for watching shows during the day. Despite the low input lag, it's mediocre for gaming, as it has a slow response time and no advanced gaming features. The built-in Google Play Store has a huge selection of streaming apps, including dedicated sports streaming apps.
Pros
  • Wide viewing angles
  • Decent reflection handling
  • Low input lag
Cons
  • Low contrast ratio
  • Sub-par black uniformity
  • No local dimming feature

Hisense 55A6G has a 4K Dolby Vision upscaler. Android TV is well-stocked with apps. Amazon Alexa voice control is built in (it's accessible via the Remote NOW app) It's fitted with an audio system powered by a total of 16 watts.
Pros
  • Excellent picture quality
  • Decent motion-handling
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • No HDR10+ support
  • No Dolby Vision

trustedreviews[4]

Reviewer score 58% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from trustedreviews have found:
The Hisense A6G uses the company's proprietary VIDAA U5 interface. It's clean, logical, easily customised and has an okay selection of catch-up and streaming service apps. But it doesn't really go far enough, certainly not where the likes of Disney+ and Apple TV are concerned – neither are included here.
Pros
  • Impressive picture quality
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • No true black from edge-lit LCD panel
  • No HDR10 support
