The Toshiba U2963DB is the perfect example of a big-value big-screen, circa 2020. Connectivity reflects its budget status. There are only three HDMIs, plus analogue AV, a PC VGA input, and a digital optical audio output. The set employs a Freeview Play tuner which means you're covered for catch-up TV across the main terrestrial TV channels.
Pros
  • Decent picture quality
  • Dolby Vision HDR
  • Decent sound
Cons
  • Lack of HDR10+
  • No Dolby Atmos

Toshiba's 58U2963 comes with 4K HDR with Dolby Vision. Connections include three HDMI inputs plus PC input and a digital audio optical output. Works with Alexa, but you'll need an Alexa device on your network if you want to use voice control to change channels or adjust volume.
Pros
  • Excellent picture quality
  • Dolby Vision on board
Cons
  • No HDR10+ support
  • Limited black level
