Product Overview

Bentley Continental GTC Mk3 is a large luxury convertible in production from 2019. It is available with a range of V8 and W12 engines that displaced 4.0 to 6.0 liters.
Compared to the Continental GT, the GTC has the same setup and is more suitable for those living in moderate climate all year round. Compared to its predecessor, the Mk3 is much more advanced, having been built on VW's RWD-based MSB platform.
Utility-minded owners will have to keep in mind that the 235L (8cu-ft) cargo space may not be sufficient.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Bentley Continental GT III Convertible comes with double-wishbone at the front and multi-link at the rear.

External Reviews

autocar[1]

Reviewer score 73% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autocar have found:
Bentley’s W12 engine feels as potent in this 650bhp state of tune as you’d hope it would, albeit still a bit lazy and boosty in its delivery at times. Both coupé and convertible are near enough identical cars to interact with at a simpler level. Even in their sportiest drive modes, neither troubles you with much weight or tactile feedback through the steering.
Pros
  • New-found handling dynamism
  • Comfortable to drive
Cons
  • Not the most exciting engine
  • Lacklustre engine

autoexpress[2]

Reviewer score 88% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autoexpress have found:
The third-generation Continental GT Convertible is the pinnacle of the open-top grand tourer. With a 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine that makes 626bhp and 900Nm of torque – even though this tank weighs 2,414kg – it'll still hit 60mph in 3.7 seconds and 207mph flat out. Just as in the Continental coupe you'll find the largest touchscreen ever to feature in a Bentley, at 12.3 inches.
Pros
  • Gorgeous interior
  • Fantastic infotainment system
  • Comfortable to drive
Cons
  • Not the most comfortable to drive

carmagazine[3]

Reviewer score 93% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
The third-gen Conti's more capable chassis has already proved itself in the Coupe, and the Convertible's an equally giant leap over its forebear. The interior – as befits a £175,890 luxury car in the first days of its life – is gorgeous. The car also deploys everything in Bentley's dynamic arsenal; a torque-splitting centre diff and all-wheel drive, torque vectoring by brake, air suspension, 48-volt anti-roll control and the biggest iron brakes currently on sale.
Pros
  • Gorgeous interior
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Fantastic infotainment system
Cons
  • Pricier than Coupe

digitaltrends[4]

Reviewer score 80% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from digitaltrends have found:
Bentley opted for an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, rather than the torque-converter automatics used in its previous vehicles. Dynamic Ride active suspension system uses a 48-volt electrical system and electronic actuators to counteract body roll. Despite having a fabric convertible top, the Continental GT was library quiet on the inside.
Pros
  • Gorgeous interior
  • Comfortable ride
  • Fantastic infotainment system
Cons
  • No all-wheel drive
  • Less refined transmission
