Ferrari F8 Tributo (F142MFL)
Sports CarProduct Gallery
Product Overview
Ferrari F8 Tributo (Type F142MFL) is a mid-engine sports car in production from 2019. It is powered by a bi-turbo V8 engine that displaced 3.9 liters.
Essentially, the F8 Tributo is an evolution of the F142M Ferrari 488, which is an evolution of the F142 Ferrari 458. Unfortunately, the car has grown uglier with each "modificata", reaching about the same level as a McLaren. What the driver gets in return is a lot more power, which may be a questionable tradeoff for those planning to drive the car on public roads.
Utility-minded owners will have to keep in mind that the 200L (7cu-ft) cargo space may not be sufficient.

External Reviews
autocar[1]
Reviewer score 99% (normalized by Neofiliac)The F8 Tributo combines near-488 Pista performance, precision and playfulness with everyday usability. So alert and grippy is the front end that you can pick your line with laser-guided precision. The adaptive dampers’ Bumpy Road setting brings a real plushness to the ride. At a cruise the exhaust note is a distant blare. There’s all the usual infotainment options (although the standard sat-nav is hopeless, plus soft leather for the seats and thick carpet for the floors)
Pros
- Powerful engine
- Punchy handling
- Impressive handling
Cons
- Not as powerful as the 488 Pista
autoexpress[2]
Reviewer score 89% (normalized by Neofiliac)3.9-litre V8 makes 710bhp – 49bhp more than the GTB – and 770Nm of torque. Car is 40kg lighter and 10 per cent more aerodynamically efficient. 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds, 124mph in 7.8 seconds and 211mph at the top end.
Pros
- Powerful V8
- Impressive performance
- Excellent handling
Cons
- Ridiculous suspension
- Lack of refinement
carmagazine[3]
Reviewer score 95% (normalized by Neofiliac)The F8 has the GTB's slightly softer suspension settings, but it also turns in very eagerly thanks to fast steering, is highly resistant to understeer and has carbon-ceramic brakes. The fun part is taming the flamboyancy just enough to keep the F8 moving quickly and not dropping too much time.
Pros
- Powerful V8
- Fantastic handling
- Impressive powertrain
Cons
- Not quite as agile as the Pista
- Not the most fun to drive
cnet[4]
Reviewer score 93% (normalized by Neofiliac)Ferrari's new F8 Tributo has 50 more horses than the old 488 GTB. The 3.9-liter, turbocharged V8 makes 710 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque. The carbon-ceramic brakes worked exceptionally well, even on this exceptionally chilly day.
Pros
- Fantastic performance
- Superb infotainment system
- Comfortable to drive
Cons
- No Android Auto
- No adaptive cruise or blind-spot monitoring
