Product Overview

Alpina B8 Gran Coupe G16 is an executive sedan in production from 2021. It is available with a tuned version of BMW N63 bi-turbo hot-V8 engines that displaced 4.4 liters.
Unlike the old Alpina based on the original E31 8 Series (Alpina B12), the B8 Gran Coupe is rather ugly with its hunchback styling and obsession with AWD.

Reviewers from autocar have found the following***:
The B8 gets the same Merino leather as the normal 8 Series, but is available with punchier colours, in this case an Ivory White/Night Blue combination. The steering wheel is finished in Alpina Lavalina leather, which feels subtly different to a normal BMW ‘wheel. It is a five-seater but you’d be hard pushed to sit in the middle for long on account of the enormous transmission tunnel.
