Alpina XD3 G01
Compact CrossoverProduct Gallery
Product Overview
Alpina XD3 G01 is a compact crossover in production from 2018. It is available with a single inline-6 diesel engine found in the G01 BMW X3 xDrive30d that displaced 3.0 liters. Alpina tuned the B57 engine to above that of the G01 M40d.
Compared to the N57, many believe that the B57 represents an improvement in build quality and reliability. The moderate boost in power from stock also means that little is sacrificed in terms of durability in this XD3.
Those who drive offroad, for work or leisure, need to think twice before pulling the trigger: the Alpina XD3 is hardly the "offroader" that Alpina would like you to think.

autoexpress[1]
Reviewer score 62% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Alpina XD3 starts life as a regular X3, but then gets a sporty makeover. The front end is treated to a deeper splitter, while the back gets a similar extension in order to house a set of quad tailpipes. The 22-inch alloy wheels and sticker pack test the boundaries of taste, but if you think it's all a bit much, smaller 20-inch rims are available and the decals are optional.
Pros
- Comfortable to drive
- Powerful diesel engine
- Stylish looks
Cons
- Lacklustre fuel consumption
