Alpina XB7 G07
Full-Size CrossoverProduct Gallery
Product Overview
Alpina XB7 G07 is a full-size crossover in production from 2020. It is available with a tuned BMW N63 hot-vee bi-turbo V8 engine that displaced 4.4 liters.
Essentially a modified X7 M50i, the Alpina XB7 puts out as much power as an M5 Competition. With Alpina's classic styling elements, the XB7 is essentially the X7 M that BMW has yet to produce.
Those who drive offroad, for work or leisure, need to think twice before pulling the trigger: the Alpina XB7 is hardly the "offroader" that Alpina would like you to think. Utility-minded owners will love the 2120L (75cu-ft) cargo space.

External Reviews
autocar[1]
Reviewer score 74% (normalized by Neofiliac)The latest addition to the German car maker’s growing line-up is based on the already potent X7 M50i. Changes include a heavily revised engine and gearbox, tweaked suspension and brakes, and all the usual up-market Alpina cabin accoutrements. As roomy and luxurious as the XB7 is, it is its engine that is the star of the show.
Pros
- Powerful engine
- Comfortable to drive
Cons
- More expensive than the X7 M50i
carmagazine[2]
Reviewer score 82% (normalized by Neofiliac)The XB7 can keep up with even the sportiest of luxury SUVs like the DBX and Urus. It has air suspension that you can manually lift, and there's the xOffroad instruments on the screen. But low bumper aprons and massive wheels don't exactly shout mud-plugging 4x4. You're better off with a G-Class or newly announced V8 Defender.
Pros
- Gorgeous interior
- Powerful engines
- Comfortable to drive
Cons
- Lacklustre infotainment system
cnet[3]
Reviewer score 88% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Alpina XB7 adds a certain layer of excess to the BMW X7. The X7's 4.4-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 gets a little more attention than it typically does at the factory. A set of 21-inch wheels comes standard, while the 23-inch monsters are optional.
Pros
- Gorgeous looks
- Powerful engine
- Comfortable to drive
Cons
- Expensive for a three-row SUV
