Lamborghini Urus
Mid-Size CrossoverProduct Gallery
Product Overview
Lamborghini Urus is a large high-performance crossover in production from 2017. It is available with a single bi-turbo V8 engine that displaced 4.0 liters.
Essentially the high-performance, suited-up variant of the Audi Q8, the Urus is much larger than it appears at first glance. However, its sloping roofline means that interior space is limited for the rear passengers.
Those who drive offroad, for work or leisure, need to think twice before pulling the trigger: the Lamborghini Urus is hardly the "offroader" that Lamborghini would like you to think.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Lamborghini Urus comes with multi-link suspensions at all four corners. This provides the best cornering performance and tunability, at the expense of cost and a little bit of durability.

External Reviews
autocar[1]
Reviewer score 75% (normalized by Neofiliac)Lamborghini says it wants the Urus to have ‘best in class’ handling. It is so competent on a circuit, so amenable on the road, and yet still capable of shrugging off-road lumps aside. The only sticking point is whether you thought that was a question worth asking, and worth putting a Lamborghini badge onto its nose when you answered it.
Pros
- Impressive off-road handling
- Excellent infotainment
Cons
- Fidgety on the road
- Fiddly to drive
autoexpress[2]
Reviewer score 64% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Lamborghini Urus is a £170k car from the VW Group. There's only the one five-door body style on offer, but you can specify your car with either a traditional three-seater rear bench or individual rear chairs for two. While the car is undoubtedly luxuriously appointed, we're not sure that passengers will appreciate the sporty ride as much as the driver. The sloping, low-roofed body extracts a price in the back where both headroom and legroom is in short supply.
Pros
- Comfortable to drive
- Excellent infotainment tech
Cons
- Lack of room for six-footers
carmagazine[3]
Reviewer score 72% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Urus is Lamborghini's first SUV with a twin-turbo V8 engine. Despite weighing a smidgen under 2200kg it can do 0-62mph in 3.6 seconds and it tops out at 190mph. The interior will probably gather more universal praise, as it's beautifully put together and plenty spacious, too.
Pros
- Powerful V8
- Comfortable to drive
- Fantastic interior
Cons
- Fiddly gear selector
- Lacklustre V8
cnet[4]
Reviewer score 83% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Urus can go from 62 mph to a dead stop in just 110 feet. A two-screen infotainment setup and the Lamborghini "tamburo" center drive selector give the Urus a space-age look. Behind the rear seats you'll find 22 cubic feet of space, which expands to 56 cubic feet when folded.
Pros
- Super-luxurious interior
- Powerful V8 engine
- Superb infotainment system
Cons
- Sloping roofline
- Lack of cargo space
topgear[5]
Reviewer score 88% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Urus has a 616-litre (1,596-litres with the rear seats down) boot. The seats are comfortable, not the skeletal instruments of torture you get in sportier versions of the Huracan and Aventador. While there's genuinely space for the whole family, plus a slightly terrified dog in the boot, running the Urus isn't going to be Skoda Kodiaq cheap.
Pros
- Gorgeous design
- Powerful engines
- Superb infotainment
Cons
- Lack of space in the back
