Alpina B3 Touring G21
Compact WagonProduct Gallery
Product Overview
Alpina B3 Touring G21 is a high-performance compact executive station wagon in production from 2019. It is powered by a turbocharged inline-6 engine that displaced 3.0 liters.
Based on the G21 BMW M340i, the Alpina B3 Touring has markedly higher outputs. Via the same 8-speed ZF auto gearbox, all four wheels are driven as standard.
Compared to the standard BMW, as has increasingly been the case, the Alpina lacks character. It still looks distinct but is mechanically just a high-strung 3 Series.

Reviewer score 89% (normalized by Neofiliac)There’s plenty of space inside and you get a real sense of maturity on the move, but the car avoids the occasional awkwardness that comes with driving something as large as the 5 Series Touring. Compared with the M340i, what the Alpina gives the driver is, simultaneously, a more connected feeling with the road and the ability to tread and move more fluidly over all but the roughest surfaces.
Pros
- Comfortable to drive
- Impressive handling
- Comfortable ride
Cons
- Not as fast as rivals
