Product Overview

Kia Stinger (chassis code CK) facelift is a mid-size sedan in production from 2020. It is available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 2.5 to 3.3 liters.
One of the sportier sedans, the Stinger prioritizes handling dynamics and performance, all offered at an attractive price point.
Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the Kia Stinger uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.

External Reviews

autocar[1]

Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autocar have found:
The Stinger is still a big old beast, and only 10kg lighter than a BMW M5 Competition. The adaptive dampers have been retuned to be a little more forgiving across the board, but at the same time Kia claims to have achieved a ‘slight reduction in understeer’ In Sport mode, the level of assistance has not been dialled back, as you might expect, but increased.
Pros
  • Powerful V6
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Decent infotainment
Cons
  • Slight understeer

autoexpress[2]

Reviewer score 53% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autoexpress have found:
New 3.3-litre twin-turbocharged unit produces the same 361bhp and 510Nm as before. Performance could be better still if it wasn't for the eight-speed automatic gearbox. At 406 litre, the boot is smaller than in either a 3 Series or an S5.
Pros
  • Powerful V6 engine
  • Fantastic infotainment system
Cons
  • Lack of room for your feet
  • Pricier than rivals
