Product Overview

Nissan Sentra Mk8 (chassis code B18) is an affordable compact sedan in production from 2020. It is available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.6 to 2.0 liters. As usual with Nissan, CVT is heavily used, though in select markets a 6-speed manual is offered as well.
The Mk8 Sentra has the same design language found in the Altima and Maxima.
Nissan has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.27 coefficient of drag to show for it.

Reviewer score 69% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from cnet have found:
A new 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine replaces last year's 1.8-liter I4 and it ekes out 149 horsepower. A new multilink independent rear suspension stands in lieu of the old torsion-beam setup. Infotainment system on an available 8-inch screen is only fine.
Pros
  • Gorgeous interior
  • Excellent driver-assistance tech
  • Comfortable ride
Cons
  • Lackluster infotainment
  • Lack of body roll

tomsguide[2]

Reviewer score 60% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomsguide have found:
The new Sentra is not a fast car, and it's no replacement for a genuine sport compact. The steering is a bit heavy at lower speeds, but it's admittedly a welcome bit of heft. The only issue I really have with the Sentra's on-road character is the way it comes to a stop.
Pros
  • Gorgeous interior
  • Excellent infotainment tech
  • Comfortable ride
Cons
  • Lackluster on-road performance
  • Lacklustre lane departure warning
