Product Overview
Nissan Maxima 8 (chassis code A36) facelift is an affordable mid-size sedan in production from 2019. It is available with a single naturally-aspirated V6 engine that displaced 3.5 liters, which was carried over from the pre-facelift.
On the plus side, the Maxima is one of the last opportunity to get a naturally-aspirated V6. However, the facelift is uglier than pre-facelift, and the car still uses the horrible CVT transmission.

Reviewer score 60%Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard across the Maxima lineup. Adaptive cruise control and traffic-sign recognition are standard on SV models and up. The Maxima's interior is stylish and comfortable, even if rear-seat headroom is a bit limited. The top-shelf Platinum model kicks off at around 42, but with the Reserve package, a rear diffuser and other odds and ends, it's about $46,000.
