Product Overview

Nissan Altima Mk9 (chassis code L34) is an affordable mid-size sedan in production from 2019. It is available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 2.0 to 2.5 liters. All engines are paired to a CVT, with the 2.5 available in AWD.
Unfortunately, while Nissan made a decent effort in the Altima's exterior styling, its mechanicals remain basic and build quality uninspiring.
Nissan has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.26 coefficient of drag to show for it.

Reviewer score 76% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from cnet have found:
The new 2.0-liter VC-Turbo four-cylinder engine replaces the outgoing 3.5-liter V6. A continuously variable transmission works with the engine to return 25 miles per gallon in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. The 2019 Altima's dynamics have improved, but still trail the Accord and Mazda6.
Pros
  • Powerful turbocharged engine
  • Comfortable ride
  • New infotainment tech
Cons
  • Lackluster ride quality
