Product Overview

Lexus ES 7 (chassis code XZ10) facelift is an executive sedan in production from 2021. It is available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 2.5 to 3.5 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift Mk7 ES, the facelifted car is mechanically similar and the car only received minor updates. Nevertheless, the car is exceptionally handsome, even though it is built on a FWD platform.
Lexus has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.26 coefficient of drag to show for it.

autoexpress[1]

Sentiment Score 34%
Reviewers from autoexpress have found the following***:
The Lexus ES has to compete with multiple executive car alternatives that focus on a sporty driving experience. If solely judged on this criterion, the Japanese saloon is sorely out-performed. That said, executive cars are assessed on a number of other key areas, such as refinement, comfort and interior quality. It is these areas where the ES claws back ground.

Pros
  • High-quality interior
  • Good fuel economy
Cons
  • Only one powertrain available
  • Only four-wheel drive

The ES 250 offers 13.9 cubic feet of trunk space, a good amount to be sure. An 8-inch infotainment screen is included on lower-end models, but a beautiful 12.3-incher is available. The 2021 ES sedan starts at 41 grand and change including $1,025 in delivery fees.
