Product Overview

Maserati Quattroporte 6 (Type M156) is a full-size luxury sedan in production from 2013. It is available with a range of V6 and V8 engines that displaced 3.0 to 3.8 liters.
Ostensibly an evolution in styling of the Quattroporte 5, the Quattroporte 6 has grown in size, mostly to accommodate the rear passengers. This change made the car much uglier.
Unfortunately, Maserati also went full-on forced induction, and a nonsensical diesel model was introduced.
Maserati has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it.

Maserati's new Quattroporte Trofeo has a 3.8-litre, twin-turbo V8 petrol engine. It produces 572bhp at 6,750rpm alongside a rousing 730Nm of torque. It can hit 62mph in 4.5 seconds, and to 100mph in less than 10 seconds.
Pros
  • Powerful V8 engine
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Lots of standard equipment
Cons
  • Lacklustre cabin

carmagazine[2]

Reviewer score 77% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
It's now powered by a muscular all-new twin-turbo 3.8-litre V8, rated at 523bhp. There's no manettino to play with, no in-between setting splitting ESP on and ESP off, no switchable anti-roll bars and no air suspension. Maserati is pitching the QP against the lwb editions of the Audi A8 W12, BMW 760i, Mercedes S600 and Jaguar XJ Supersport.
Pros
  • Powerful V8
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Impressive infotainment system
Cons
  • Lacklustre handling
  • No electric power steering
