Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster R197 is a flagship high-performance convertible supercar in production from 2011 to 2014. It was available with several tunes of naturally-aspirated M159 V8 engine that displaced 6.2 liters paired to a 7-speed DCT.
Compared to the SLR McLaren that preceded it, the SLS AMG Roadster is much more affordable, despite being even more gorgeous and having improved character as well as performance.
Unfortunately, whereas the coupe boasts unique gull-wing doors, the roadster has to do with conventional doors. Even though the car looks great with the top up or down, the loss of gull wings alone is perhaps too high a price.
