Alpina B6 F12 is an executive convertible based on the F12 BMW 650i in production from 2012 to 2018. It was powered by a tuned BMW N63 bi-turbo V8 engine that displaced 4.4 liters paired to a ZF 8HP70 8-speed automatic transmission.
Compared to the previous E64 B6, the F12 has a less classy yet still elegant styling language. It is much closer to the base BMW than previous Alpina vehicles, as turbocharging made further modifications difficult and most tuners can refresh the ECU and get more performance out of the engine.
Unfortunately, the N63 is not known for its reliability, and the Alpina version is no exception.
