Product Overview

Alpina B6 E64 is an executive convertible based on the E64 BMW 650i in production from 2005 to 2010. It was powered by two tunes of a supercharged Alpina H1 V8 engine that displaced 4.4 liters based on the BMW N62.
For this generation, Alpina did away with the traditional boring of the engine and install a supercharger to the N62 engine. This heavily modified Alpina H1 engine uses the BMW block and completely replaces the rotating assembly. The same engine can be found in the Alpina B7 and B5 of the period.
Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the Alpina B6 uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.
